My 6 month old Lorelai started out with a rash all over her body, a day later she had a fever.  i took her to the doctor twice (everyother day) and they kept telling me that it was a virus and it would have to run it's course.  By the next day her fever was worse and she couldn't keep anything down.  We took her to Sick Kids in Toronto, and they diagnosed her with Kawasaki.  They gave her 2 IVIG treatments and ASA with it.  She has been home now a week from the hospital and the rash is suddenly back, no fever.  Is this normal?

Hello, I am not sure if they would treat again without a fever, but if you have any concerns about the signs and symptoms coming back, I would take her back in. Our son required 3 treatments before all of his signs were gone. He had a fever the entire time though! You can never be too careful when this disease is one that effects their heart! This is just my opinion. Hope everything is o.k! Kim

I would suggest taking in her in once again better to act than to not.

I would take her back as well. My son had two treatments with a fever the whole time as well. I have read that it is possible to have a second attack. Good luck, and take care. Jake's Mom.
